Halloween Mini-Beast Wildlife Drawing for Adults and Families

RACC Parkshot Richmond TW9 2RE

25 Oct 2017 - 11:00 - 18:00

On Wednesday 25th October we'll be gearing up for Halloween with an extra spooky creepy crawly Life drawing!

Wild Life Drawing for Families and Adults...

This class will explore the wonderful world of insects and small beasties, we'll meet a glorious tree frog, an Emperor Scorpion (who we'll see glow in the dark), Giant Millipedes, Giant Land Snails, stick insects, a Vampire Crab, friendly tarantulas and a Tailless Whip Scorpion named Gladys (made famous from the Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson in Harry Potter!).

During the session, the class will be introduced to the animals with a short talk from the experienced animal handlers, and everyone will able to study them closely. As well as drawing, we will be learning about their unique characteristics, origins and conservation issues facing the animals in the wild.

Halloween fancy dress for adults and children alike is optional but encouraged!
