Welcome to RACC (Richmond Adult Community College), the specialist in providing courses for adults and young people in an adult environment. Our mission is to enable adults to unlock their talent and fulfil their potential through learning, skills and enterprise. We offer a rich variety of high quality learning opportunities at College, within the workplace and in the community.
RACC has an excellent reputation for high quality teaching, learning and effective assessment. Linked to that we have an impressive array of student support services to help you get the most from the College. We provide free access to IT in our Learning Centres, well-stocked libraries on both main sites, built-in tutorials on many courses, additional support with numeracy and literacy to help you achieve the course objectives, an Advice and Guidance Service that can provide course information, progression and career opportunities and a crèche for under 5’s on our Clifden site.
Learning is very important at a time of a recession. As other investment options look less attractive there is no better time to ‘invest in yourself.’ We recognise that a number of our learners are experiencing financial difficulty during this recession as incomes have declined or people have lost their jobs.
RACC works flexibly with employers to provide training to up-skill employees in their field of expertise within the working environment. In addition for those currently unemployed we provide roll-on roll-off employability provision to help the unemployed back into work. If you would like to find out more about our training for Employers or Employability Training please contact our Training team on 020 8439 8937 or email@example.com who will be happy to help you find the right training option.
When you join RACC you don’t just do a College course you join a community where there is always a warm welcome in adult friendly learning environments. If you haven’t discovered Richmond’s ‘outstanding’ college (OFSTED 2010) then take the opportunity now and make our success your success in 2013.
I look forward to welcoming you to make the most of the opportunities RACC offers, to enable you to unlock your potential.
