We have designed our website to be as accessible as possible so that you can find out about our courses and what we do. In doing so, we have taken into consideration our legal obligations under section 21 of the Disability Discrimination Act - "to make reasonable adjustments to ensure blind and partially sighted people can access your service".
In addition, we have accorded with the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) guidelines.
We also try to meet the standards promoted by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), including all of the WAI Priority One checkpoints.

The website has symbols that will adjust the size of the text when clicked.
Near the top right corner of every page of the RACC website, there is text that says ‘Text Size:’ followed by the letter ‘A’. If you click on the first 'A' the text will show the default size, the next 'A' will make the text slightly larger, and the third 'A' make it a lot larger still.
The text can also be adjusted using Internet Explorer by doing the following:
1. Click on View (at top left of window)
2. Move to Text Size
3. Click on ‘Larger’ or ‘Largest’
Finding a course
If you have tried searching for a course by typing in a keyword in the search box but have not found what you want, try changing your keyword or add another word on the course search field.
If you are trying to find a course that fits in with your time availability, you can search our course offer by day of the week, daytime or evening, and weekend. Alternatively, you can visit the Subjects A-Z page and browse via course category or alphabetically.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the PDF documents on this website. You can download Acrobat Reader free of charge from the Adobe web site.
The images on the site have a description provided in the alternative text tag that can be viewed with use of a screen reader or by rolling your mouse over the image.
