Open House London 2016

Having won a number of design awards, both locally within Richmond, and even in the greater London city, RACC has been invited to participate in Open House London.  Free tours of the buildings will be provided, along with opportunities to learn more about courses taught at RACC.  Visitors can also enjoy live jazz music from 1 - 2.30pm, as well as art exhibitions in the main Edwardian Hall.

In 1941, fleeing the Nazis, Marxist playwright Bertolt Brecht arrived in America where he met English actor and Hollywood star Charles Laughton. Attracted to each other like celestial objects they embarked on translating and adapting Brecht's play Life of Galileo for its American premiere, with Laughton playing the lead, while history, in the form of the the atomic bomb and the House Un-American Activities Committee, exerted its pull.

Join us at RACC on the last Thursday of every month for Film Nights in our Theatre.  September's offering: a very special PREVIEW SCREENING of the award winning documentary Life Animated.  As a special partnership offer, the British Film Institute is partnering with RACC to provide an advanced preview screening of this award winning documentary - two months before it is released in cinemas.

Bonner Kammerchor - German choir

Bonner Kammerchor is a mixed semi-professional choir – about 40 ambitious singers of different ages and professions who meet to sing on a weekly basis. Both musically and artistically, Bonner Kammerchor has high professional standards. 


Richmond Adult Community College is lucky enough to welcome the Bonner Kammerchor as part of the choir's UK tour in October.  Songs will include works by Bach, Purcell, Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Stanford, Elgar und others, led by respected choirmaster/conductor Georg Hage.
