Richmond Carers Centre are delighted to announce a carers event which will bring together carers from all over Richmond to discuss what really matters to them. 

 

This event has been designed to give you the opportunity to discuss your expectations, questions and received information about how the new Care Act will be implemented locally. The Act will have been implemented by the time we meet. The event is being hosted by Richmond Carers Centre and the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Richmond Homes and Lifestyle Trust – Richmond Mencap Volunteer Event

Richmond Homes and Lifestyle Trust together with Richmond Mencap are thrilled to invite you to our Volunteer Events. You will have the opportunity to investigate the benefits of volunteering with us; such as learning new skills, enhancing your CV. 

 

The first session in the Canteen is an introduction, we will give you literature and display some activities.

 

The second session in the Adult Learning Suite, there will be short presentations, watch a puppet show and hear first-hand from people who use our services. You will have the opportunity to investigate the benefits of volunteering with us; such as learning new skills, enhancing your CV, increase your employability and of course make new and varied range of friends there will also be refreshments.

Find out about voluntary and paid work opportunities in the local region at this enterprise and employability networking event organised by RACC and the Federation of Small Business

The event will host employers from the local area who are able to offer voluntary opportunities for work.  These positions are being made available to RACC’s learners to gain valuable work experience to improve employability prospects as well as enrich their current learning experience.
