Ways to Wellbeing

As part of mental health awareness week (May 15th to 22nd ) we will introduce you to the New Economic Foundation's five ways to wellbeing.

 

We will examine what you can do to improve your wellbeing through five principles.

 

  1. The five principles will be explained -

  3. Taking notice
  4. Giving
  5. Being active and Keep...

Fantabulosa - pop-up cafe

Where: Richmond Business School, Parkshot, Richmond TW9 2RE

When: Wednesday 18th May

Timings: 3-6pm

Ticket price range: FREE

Pop-up, drop by cafe providing support to, and a place to gather and socialise for, the LGBT community in Richmond.

 

Drop by for a cuppa and to exchange ideas, receive or provide support from other members of the Richmond LGBT community.

 

Attendance is free, and all are welcome to attend.  The pop-up cafe is held in the foyer of the Richmond Business School (RBS) Building within Richmond Adult Community College - Parkshot TW9 2RE.

Richmond Adult Community College Summer Art Fair.

 

We welcome you to our first ever summer selling show, featuring a wide range of highly skilled local artisan makers.  Tours of Richmond Art School facilities will also be available.

 

The Art Fair coincides with the annual Portcullis Trust Plant Sale.  Featuring plants, homemade cakes and biscuits and exciting raffles to raise money for LLDD learners at RACC, the Portcullis Plant Sale will add further excitement to a...

St Helena's Trust Ceramics Competition - judged by Bamber Gascoigne

Timings: Judging Thursday 26th May from 6.30pm

Ticket price range: FREE

The annual St Helena's Trust Ceramics Competition will be on display in RACC's Edwardian atrium hall from Tuesday 24 May - Friday 27 May.  Talented RACC ceramics students submit their entries to be judged by a panel led by Bamber Gascoigne on Thursday 26 May.  Visit the exhibition to vote for your favourite piece to win the People's Choice Award.

 

Prize giving will begin at 6.30pm on Thursday 26 May.

Kew Wind Orchestra Concert: The Ship that never Sailed... and other tales

After the great success that was their October 2015 'Movie Magic' concert, the Kew Wind Orchestra returns to RACC in May 2016 to perform 'The Ship that Never Sailed... And Other Tales'.

 

A talented group of musicians, the Kew Wind Orchestra possesses the gift of making fantastic music fun and accessible to the whole family.

 

Tickets can be pre-purchased here, or purchased on the door.  Doors and bar open from 7pm.  A fun night not to be missed!

Richmond Jazz School - Jazz Club

Hosted by Tony Woods and Linley Weir, Richmond Jazz Club presents another of its highly popular concert evenings in RACC's beautiful theatre.  Including performances from classes as well as tutors from the Richmond Jazz School, this event offers something for everybody.

 

Tickets are just £5, doors and bar open from 7pm.
