Understand business formation and the laws that apply to different types of business (sole trader, partnership, limited company etc)

Know how to comply with the current legal requirements for a business.

Know the current laws and regulations that affect trading, business and the environment

Explaining why it is important to seek legal advice and who might provide it

Understand the importance of setting terms and conditions that meet legal requirements for customers, suppliers and other major stakeholders

Know where to find further sources of legal advice for a business
