On 16th December, 15 16-19 year olds were invited to the premiere of the 3D film Flying Monsters. The film was shown at the Odeon in Richmond and the students were invited to attend by Filmclub, a free service helping public schools and colleges to set up after school film clubs.
Flying Monsters 3D is a one hour film that explores the evolution of pterosaurs - flying vertebrates with a wingspan of up to 45 feet who lived 200 million years ago and was written and presented by Sir David Attenborough.
Everyone enjoyed the film and then took part in an interesting question and answer session with the film’s production and visual effects teams.
Flying Monsters 3D was released on Sky on Christmas day.
